The Standard Air Tank requires 2 silver, making silver one of the first non-titanium resources you need. Prioritize collecting silver in the shallow Coral Gardens on your initial dives.

Silver Deposits yield 3–5 per resonator hit versus 2–3 from breaking Silver Nodes. Resonating deposits is more efficient, especially when targeting the 5-yield variant.

Silver converts to copper (1:1) and germanium (2:1), while gold converts to silver (1:1). Use these conversion recipes to balance your metal inventory instead of hunting scarce deposits.

Hydroelectric Turbines need 3 silver each. A three-turbine power setup costs 9 silver — plan a dedicated silver farming run before building power infrastructure.

Silver and gold share both the Coral Gardens and Observatory Ruins biomes. Farm them together on the same dive to avoid redundant trips to the same regions.
